Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing
transformational leadership in playing its role for the
progress of public organizations, especially in improving
employee performance. In making this study, it was
carried out using the literature study method by using
literature review and literature studies. The results of the
literature review that has been conducted state that
transformational leadership has a fairly important role
for organizational progress. Transformational
leadership will affect the variables that are milestones in
the success of public sector organizations, one of which
is the performance of its employees. Every organization,
especially public sector organizations, should strengthen
the application and understanding of transformational
leadership as an effort to achieve organizational goals
well. Leaders are considered a key milestone in managing
performance to be more effective and efficient.
