About the Journal
Accesso Journal serves as a scholarly platform to expand knowledge and foster critical dialogue in the fields of community empowerment, sustainable development, rural and urban dynamics, social conflict, collective welfare, and the role of women in development. Published by the Rancak Publik Foundation, this journal provides a forum for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to share research findings, critical reflections, and policy innovations grounded in social realities.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and substantive relevance. We welcome contributions employing either quantitative or qualitative approaches, as long as they offer meaningful insights into addressing development challenges and empowering communities.
Accesso Journal accepts articles that examine issues in the domains of social, political, economic, cultural, and spatial studies, with particular attention to the following themes:
1. Community Empowerment
Studies on strategies, approaches, and practices of empowerment that strengthen both individual and collective capacities in managing resources, claiming rights, and building social resilience.
2. Sustainable Development
Critical analyses of concepts, policies, and practices of development oriented toward ecological sustainability, social justice, and economic balance, including reflections on their impacts on vulnerable groups.
3. Rural and Urban Development
Research on spatial dynamics, governance, and the integration of development planning that addresses regional disparities, local needs, and power relations in the management of resources and infrastructure.
4. Social Conflict and Peacebuilding
Studies on the root causes, patterns, and community-based resolution of conflicts, including the role of local institutions and policy interventions in creating more inclusive and just societies.
5. Social Welfare
Examinations of social policies, distribution of development benefits, provision of basic protections, and welfare intervention models that contribute to improving community quality of life.
6. Woman and Development
Research focusing on the roles, experiences, and contributions of women in development, as well as critical analyses of gender inequalities embedded in policies and practices of development.
